Ball Valve
The opening and closing component of a cast steel ball valve (the ball) is driven by the valve stem and rotates around the axis of the valve stem. It is primarily used to shut off or connect the medium within the pipeline and can also be utilized to regulate and control fluid flow. The hard-sealed V-shaped ball exhibits strong shearing force between its V-shaped ball core and the hard-faced alloy metal valve seat, making it particularly suitable for media containing fibers and small solid particles. Cast steel ball valves are generally categorized into manual cast steel ball valves, pneumatic cast steel ball valves, electric cast steel ball valves, cast iron ball valves, stainless steel ball valves, and copper ball valves. This valve is suitable for pipelines in systems such as petroleum, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, paper-making, hydroelectric power, marine, water supply and drainage, smelting, and energy. It can serve as a regulating and shut-off device for various corrosive and non-corrosive gases, liquids, semi-fluids, and solid powder pipelines and containers.
