DIN Standard Non-Rising Stem Soft-Sealing Gate Valve:
The two sealing surfaces of the gate valve are wedge-shaped, with the wedge angle depending on the valve's specifications, generally 50°, or 2° 52' when the medium temperature is not high. The gate of a wedge gate valve can be designed as a single piece, known as a rigid gate. A gate that can produce slight deformation to improve manufacturability and compensate for the deviation of the sealing surface angle during machining is called an elastic gate. Typically, the lifting stem has a trapezoidal screw thread, which converts the rotational movement into linear movement through the nut at the top of the valve and the valve body's channel. In other words, it converts the operating torque into operating thrust. When the valve is opened, if the height of the slide lift is equal to 1:1 of the valve diameter, the fluid passage is fully open, although this position cannot be monitored during operation. In practice, use the top point of the stem as a reference (i.e., the immovable position) to ensure it is fully open.
Product Features:
- The flat valve design prevents debris accumulation, ensuring more reliable sealing.
- The valve is fully coated with nitrile rubber, and the interior uses corrosion and rust-resistant steel and copper alloy materials, making it suitable for harsh environments in sewage systems.
- Compact size, lightweight, easy to install and maintain.
- The valve uses three O-rings for sealing, significantly reducing friction resistance during operation, making it easy to open and close without leakage.
