Product Introduction:

The flanged gate valve corresponds to gray cast iron gate valves, forged steel gate valves, and malleable iron gate valves for cast steel gate valves. The opening and closing component of a cast steel gate valve is the gate, which moves perpendicularly to the fluid flow direction. The gate valve can only fully open or fully close and cannot be used for regulation or throttling. The gate has two sealing surfaces, and in the most common type, these surfaces are wedge-shaped. The wedge angle depends on the valve's specifications, typically 50°, or 2° 52' when the medium temperature is not high. The wedge gate can be a single piece, known as a rigid gate, or designed with slight deformability to improve manufacturability and compensate for deviations in the sealing surface angle during machining. This type of gate is called an elastic gate. The valve has significant advantages, including easy operation, reliable sealing, good elastic memory, and long service life. It can be widely used as a regulating and shut-off device in water supply, sewage, construction, petroleum, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, textile, electric power, shipbuilding, metallurgy, and energy systems.
