Characteristics of ball valves
Ball valve, a valve in which the opening and closing parts (balls) are driven by the stem and rotate around the axis of the ball valve. Compared with other kinds of valves, pneumatic ball valves have the advantages of large angular stroke output torque, rapid opening, stable and reliable, and widely used, and have the following advantages:
1. The thrust bearing reduces the friction torque of the valve stem, which can make the valve stem run smoothly and flexibly.
2. Anti-static function: there is a spring between the ball, valve stem and valve body, which can export the static electricity generated in the process of opening and closing.
3. As PTFE and other materials have good self-lubricating properties, the friction loss with the ball is small, and the pneumatic ball valve has a long service life.
4. Low fluid resistance: pneumatic ball valve is the smallest fluid resistance of all valve categories, even the diameter of the pneumatic ball valve is reduced also has a low fluid resistance.
5. Reliable stem sealing: Because the valve stem only rotates without lifting, the stem packing seal is not easy to damage, sealing capacity increases with the increase in medium pressure.
6. Good sealing performance of the valve seat: PTFE and other elastic materials made of seals are easy to seal, pneumatic ball valve sealing capacity increases with the increase in media pressure.
7. Fluid resistance is small, full-caliber ball valve basically no flow resistance.
