The double eccentric butterfly valve, also known as a high-performance butterfly valve, mainly consists of components such as the valve body, valve disc, valve core, valve seat, valve cover, support rod, shaft head, cover, detector, and sealing gasket body. Its structural characteristic lies in the valve stem axis being offset from both the center of the valve disc and the center of the valve body. This double eccentric design allows the valve disc to quickly disengage from the valve seat after opening, significantly reducing unnecessary excessive squeezing and scraping between the valve disc and the valve seat.
It is mainly used in systems for drainage in water plants, power plants, steel smelting, chemical industries, water source engineering, and environmental facilities construction, especially suitable for waterway pipelines as regulating and shut-off equipment. Compared to the concentric butterfly valve, the double eccentric butterfly valve is more resistant to high pressure, has a longer lifespan, and offers better stability.
Structural Features:
1. Reasonable design, compact structure, easy to disassemble and assemble, and convenient for maintenance.
2. The eccentric structure reduces friction of the sealing ring, extending the service life of the valve.
3. Completely sealed with zero leakage, can be used in ultra-high vacuum conditions.
4. By replacing materials for the valve disc sealing ring, valve disc, and stem, it can be suitable for various media and different temperatures.
